The original image used in this digital creation was a snapshot of a Christmas decal on the window of a Dunkin Donuts shop in the Bronx. It was taken in the evening and building lights could be seen through the window behind the decorations. I gave it a vintage look and texture suggesting a worn and frayed tapestry or banner which might be used to celebrate the holidays. This angel represents the angels that appeared to the shepherds near Bethlehem on the night that Jesus was born, bringing them "tidings of great joy." This image makes a lovely hanging or a perfect Christmas card.
